It is time that the members who put their faith in Matt O'Connor and 'his' Fathers 4 Justice know the truth about what is going on under their noses since he unilaterally folded the organisation and apparently left. Then you can decide for yourself what his character is like and what really motivates him.

Introduction
The unilateral decision to close the Fathers 4 Justice organisation on Friday 5th September 2008 by its self confessed dictatorial founder, Matt O'Connor came as a total shock to me and it was clear that the decision had not been thought through, took no account of the paying membership, or those that worked closely with him.
This blog is not a deliberate attempt to assassinate his character, he has already made an admirable job of that all on his own, but his actions and words over the past few days need to be heard. The blog will just give you the information to enable you to come to your own conclusions.

There is no doubt that Matt O'Connor has put fathers rights on the map and most of the population will have heard of F4J thanks to his creation of the brand and his skills in marketing. On the flip side, he has damaged the cause, by not engaging effectively politically, by his refusal to talk to any other groups fighting for the same thing and by actively preventing others from doing so also.
He has made a big thing of telling the press and anyone else that will listen that he has disbanded F4J and left and given a number of differing reasons why he has done so. But the truth, is a somewhat different story.
He has not gone, he is still in control, he is still bullying people, he is still threatening them and he appears to have completely lost sight of the reason for Fathers 4 Justice existence.
The straw that broke the camels back for me was over a meeting that I had arranged with an MP to discuss our cause.
From writing a private letter to an MP about fathers rights we somehow came to a point where Matt (who is supposed to have left), has removed me from the F4J Forum. I have not broken any forum rules and I have not had a proper explanation from him or anyone else. I am a paid up member and as such, am entitled to access to the support and discussion with other members that the forum provides and for which I paid for.
